BTW, The main chain is 42 inches long and has a clevis on each end.The other chain is the circular transfer chain and it is joined and is 16 inches long. I suspect less than 8 inches of chain can be used if a watch band clasp is used to join the ends of the bracelet. Bob K told me once that less chain is required that way. I don't remember the length. Bell stopped making these chains years ago and replaced the standard Vietnam era chain with a bicycle type chain and sprocket,so I assume they are getting scarce. The VHCMA should have raffle material for 7 years (or more) and then sell the end clevises and a short piece of chain for Key ring use. Tom, I need that addy.
