Tom. The wings are on the way. you should get them by Wednesday. I enclosed a signed note that is very important and should go with the wings as "provenance" That adds to the value in future years. Here is the note:

"Tom,
I found these wings in my garage Saturday Apr, 10, 2010.
We made several sets before we started production. They were called proofs. We destroyed (re-melted) the culls until we got the process right. The first acceptable pilot wings are on my wall. This set is the first acceptable proof of crewmember wings and was kept as the “standard”. They are almost perfect (for sand castings of melted helicopter skin). I forgot about them until I ran across them yesterday.
Please accept these for the VHCMA and use them as you see fit for fund raising. The foundry burned in 2009 along with the casting molds so there will never be another set.
And there will surely never be another “proof” set.
