Found a satellite image of the field. The outline of the old runway is still there..If you look at the sat. pic and zoom toabout the 1000 foot level you will see a red cross about 2 miles east of PkU.. and about 1 thousand feet east of that cross is a marker that says pleiku area airfield. center it and zoom.. Thats the place today.
they have moved on. I guess I have to also.
