yes... there are several issues, Paul.
The court today didn't issue an injunction preventing anything (for example, the start of funding this hustle through collection of taxes and fees THREE YEARS AHEAD of the start date for the "benefits" of the program).

Our "government" immediately filed an appeal on the decision, BUT: if it goes thru the regular, foot-draggin' appeals process, there's one more layer of courts to go through before Da S'premes get it. If the Court of Appeals processes it first, it can take months to years...

The Supreme Court should use its authority to go ahead and take the case (they have a special procedure in place to do that) -

The best part is this- the current SCOTUS would likely rule 5-4 in our favor, or 5-3 if the latest appointee recuses hersillyself, as she should.
She has had, in her most recent past, some exposure to influential parties which could be deemed to have some sway in the issue at the next level. Sort of like the Federal Judge in the Southwest who have recused themselves from any involvement in the trial of Loughgren for the murder of the Judge in Tucson. Too much likelihood of an appearance of conflict of interest.

Here's hoping common sense rules. Like I said, I think it's the Senate's turn, and NOT with some flaky compromise.

just my $.02,
