Herd on the news tonight that the powers that be are considering or have watering down the requirements for the award of the Purple Hart. The short of it was you no longer have to bleed. Could be as little as combat related headaches, nausea (sp), concussion who knows what.

I would favor a different award but not the Purple Hart. I'm a little pissed right now but will reserve judgment till I know more.

Our PH guys deserve more.
