Carl-Until I moved the boat to its new Summer home I was 2 miles up the River-had 2 hurricanes there-Gloria in '85 and Bob in '91.Sorm surge in Gloria was 8 ft.at in that AO-now I am 12 miles up River-and the storm surge with Irene was 3-4 ft. Had about a 1 1/2 period-7-8:30 where the wind was about 35 kts.after that was just the rain and gusts that brought the trees-and lines down.I know of a fellow boater- that lives in Bob K's town-still not power- as of today Tues. the 6th.Mix
