Yeah, the application that manages the creation of the ID's (Deadlock) stores that data in a MS SQL database. When you log in to the application (clicking on the Member Login) it checks your ID and PW against the info in the database and if it matches, it lets you into the application, regardless of case.

The same info that is in the MS SQL database is used to create a flat file on the Apache server. This file is used by Apache to manage access to a directoy where the Photo Album resides. Apache checks the login info against that flat file and if your ID and PW match, it lets you into the directory and the Photo Album starts up. The Apache check is case sensitive.
