FISHER, HARRY J., 80 passed away Aug. 10, 2012. Raised in Bellingham, MA. As one of "God's Own Lunatics" he served three tours in Vietnam receiving a Bronze Star. He is survived by his wife
Debra, brother Sonny Schwenker; two daughters; and beloved nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

Many of you remember Harry from the VHCMA reunions. He was trained as Air Traffic Control and upon arrival in Vietnam (Sept 1962)with the 81st Transportation Company he assumed that role at Camp Holloway sitting on top of a conex in a chair with an umbrella and a radio. At that time the 81st was equiped with CH-21's. In June of 1963 the 81st was inactivated and the 119th Aviation Company was activated. The CH-21's were replaced with UH-1's.

Harry always had a smile on his face. Rest in Peace Friend.
