well dont feel neglected I did one year with the 203rd and another tour with the 219th. On the perimeter 1971 at Holloway on a 2 man M-60 gun position about 5 pm a chopper went straight down 200 meters across the wire from me burning so I threw a plank across the wire and mine field ran to help men burning alive but it was to late too hot and the 40 mm were popping off so i circled around it to see if anyone fell out. so when i walked back to my m-60 position I was told I was going to get busted with an article 15 for leaving my gun position even though there were two of us. what was I supposed to do just watch men burn alive without trying to help? thats the Army for you!
