: Not much time... power out everywhere.

: Finally gave in and fired up my Y2K generators
: this morning. 12 years idle and both started
: on first pull. Flabbergasting.

: No telling when they'll get the grid in this
: area cleaned up and running again. Most
: local towns 100% out, closest operating gas
: station is in Hartford.

: Helluva mess, but we'll figger it out.

Bob- i hope this doesn't sound hollow- because it's not. You know that if there is anything anyone can do for any of you, all you have to do is say so.

so no word from any of the other guys yet?

Seeing how southern VT and NH got it, knowing the terrain a bit (Mark, Mix and I took four wheelers uphill to the reservoir) around the old Given place in Northfield, I hope it's OK..

Gail's spot should be ok, as it is on a flat-top hilltop... but the roads in and out must be a mess.

First pull.... almost incredible...but then, we had an earthquake last week, and four of five pretty good aftershocks... who'da thunkit ?

Best,
Lump
