you two guys are a certified MESS. Gald the damage is not so bad, but man, it's gotta be tough with the power loss. Hoping all gets back to "normal" soon...I think I'll buy a small genny soon.

I know of a guy who found an Army surplus 5KW multifuel setup at a yard sale for $50.. just needed a little tune-up. Those don't usually start first pull, though.

ps - we keep having aftershocks down here, nothing big, but my wife, son and daughter and I have an app on the phones which causes a "DIVE-DIVE-DIVE"
kinda klaxon to sound on the phones if we get anything 3.0 or greater within 200 miles. mebbe insignificant, given that the big one last week was felt from 'Lanta to Canuckland and as far west as lower Michigan

and word is that Lake Anna, site of the nuclear power plant, had the water level drop two feet overnight after the first shaker. BIG lake. That water went somewhere...China, mebbe? if so, hope it glows..
